Oura Launches Ring 4 Ceramic Line, New Charging Case & “Health Panels” Feature

On Wednesday, Oura announced the launch of the Oura Ring 4 Ceramic, its first smart ring collection without metallic finishes. Alongside the new rings, the company introduced its first-ever charging case, a Health Panels feature that allows members to schedule blood work directly through the Oura app, multi-ring support, and other updates.

The Ring 4 Ceramic is crafted from zirconia ceramic, offering both durability and lightweight comfort. Oura describes the collection as a fusion of “style and comfort.” Unlike painted or coated rings, the colors come from natural minerals within the ceramic, ensuring they remain vibrant and fade-resistant over time.

Each ring includes a Polishing Pad to remove scuffs that may occur from softer metals, such as cookware or dumbbells. Oura also recommends wearing the ring on your non-dominant hand to minimize unnecessary impacts.

The collection is available in four colors — Tide, Cloud, Petal, and Midnight — and is priced at $499. Membership options start at $5.99 per month or $69.99 per year, with sizes ranging from 4 to 15.

“We want to give people even more reasons to wear an Oura ring, and we’re doing that with the Oura Ring 4 Ceramic collection,” said Jason Russell, VP of Consumer Software Product at Oura, in an interview with TechCrunch. “These rings are made from ceramic zirconia, a material traditionally seen in watchmaking and jewelry. The colors are youthful and expressive, yet neutral enough for everyday wear.”

Russell emphasized that the Oura Ring is more than just a tech device. “It’s something you wear visibly on your body. We think a lot about how to give people new ways to express themselves — to find a ring that matches their vibe. The Ring 4 Ceramic is a fresh way to do just that.”

Alongside the rings, Oura also announced the Oura Ring 4 Charging Case, created in response to members’ requests for a portable charging solution. The case can store up to five full ring charges and uses a USB-C cord. Both the case and the ring fully charge in 90 minutes. Oura adds that the case also provides a secure place to store your ring when not in use.

The charging case is priced at $99 and is expected to be available later this year.
